Changes to SFI = T-Net 2.0
For those of you who have followed this blog and my newsletter - you know that SFI is one of my "Top Picks" and has been for over 2 years.
I am excited to hear that on January 1 2007 SFI is improving the structure to make SFI even a stronger player in the work at home industry.
here is the message from Gery Carson about the upcomming changes:

Greetings,
Every two years we do a thorough comp plan review.?We do this because the Internet marketplace changes very rapidly, and it's critical that we make adjustments to always stay on top of the current marketplace.
Our review is now complete, and we have decided to make some changes to the T-Net comp plan.?I think you are going to be very, very pleased.
Most of the changes are fairly minor.?There is one major change.?If you've read the article "Team Leadership 101," you know how strongly I encourage the use of Powerline Co-ops.?I encourage them so strongly because nothing else creates more advancements to EA than a Powerline.
Starting January 1st, Powerline will be AUTOMATIC in your SFI business.?Every affiliate coming into your organization will be going into a Powerline.?Every affiliate in your organization will see new affiliates placed under them every day...automatically!?Every affiliate in your organization will automatically receive a T-Net Growth Recap (TGR, formerly known as NGR) every day for their first 30 days in SFI.
The TGR they receive each day will inform them of the number of affiliates who joined under them in the past 24 hours. It will also give them a count of the cumulative total number of affiliates that joined under them since they joined SFI.?
It gets better.?The new Powerline component of T-Net is not just YOUR organization, but every affiliate companywide.?That is, beginning January 1st, SFI will employ one giant Powerline.?This means that the TGRs going out to your new affiliates will inform them of some truly eye-popping numbers.?Each day during their first 30 days in SFI, they will be informed of an average of well over 1,000 new affiliates having joined under them!
Each TGR will, of course, encourage the new affiliate to secure their valuable position in T-Net by becoming an EA as soon as possible.
To make the new Powerline/TGR system even more powerful, it will be fully integrated into the SFI Affiliate Center.
For starters, upon submitting their registration to join SFI, brand new affiliates will land on a newly-designed welcome page that explains that we will be placing thousands of new affliates under them that they can profit from, and they will be receiving a e-mail from SFI with the exact counts and details every day for their first 30 days. (By the way, this also provides a powerful incentive to confirm their registration--get Double Opted In--as we can't send them the notices if they don't do so.)
In our current system, there's no way of knowing who's going to be in a Powerline or if they're ever going to receive even one TGR, so we can't promote it or mention it.?Because of this, our current TGR, even as effective as it is, is an "uninvited guest." And you know how uninvited guests are looked upon!
Beginning January 1st, not only will we be able to mention these coming TGRs but we'll also be be able to trumpet them to the new SFI affiliate right away! We set the stage for what's to come.?By explaining the TGR up front and the value of it to them, affiliates will actually be LOOKING for and expecting a DAILY TGR. We believe this will have a major impact on activity and upgrades.
In addition to the transition from a "2x12" to a "1 x Infinity" Powerline system, we want to make some other mostly cosmetic modifications but that will simplify the comp plan and make it pay out better and faster.
This starts with what we will call the EXECUTIVE RESIDUAL BONUS (ERB).
ERB is very simple. Each EA will receive an ERB--48% of all CV (Commission Volume), for every affiliate under them in their Powerline, divided by the total number of EAs under them in their Powerline.
Based on a typical CV of $19 per EA, this will amount to approximately $9.12 per month.?As SFI grows, this amount can grow.
MATCHING BONUSES
We now introduce Matching Bonuses.?Like the Executive Residual Bonus, matches are clean, simple, and lucrative!
Each time one of your personally sponsored affiliates becomes an EA, you'll earn a match on your EA's Executive Bonus.
For the FIRST month:
You earn a 100% match if you are an EA ($9.12 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 150% match if you are a BTL ($13.68 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 200% match if you are an STL ($18.24 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 250% match if you are a GTL ($22.80 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 300% match if you are a PTL ($27.36 on a $9.12 ERB)
Not only can you earn up to a 300% match for this first month but you can also receive your matching commission the SAME DAY your affiliate upgrades!
This is because SFI will soon be unveiling an SFI Cash Card, a MasterCard-branded debit card that you can use just like a credit card anywhere in the world or on the Internet.?Plus, you can receive all your SFI commissions onto it (which can then be converted immediately into cash--in your country's currency--at most any ATM machine or zapped to a checking account)!
Of course, you'll continue to receive lucrative Match commissions each month thereafter that your affiliate remains at EA status.?Beginning with the second month:
You earn a 20% match if you are an EA ($1.82 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 40% match if you are a BTL ($3.65 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 60% match if you are an STL ($5.47on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 80% match if you are a GTL ($7.30 on a $9.12 ERB)
You earn a 100% match if you are a PTL ($9.12 on a $9.12 ERB)
TEAM LEADER BONUSES
We now move into three bonuses exclusively for Team Leaders:
The first is the "Generational Override" Match--a "GO Match" for short.
Commissions paid on generations are different than levels, so some clarification may be necessary.?In short, think of generations just like you do the generations in a family.
Here's an example (note I've used names following the alphabet to make it easier to follow):
Allen sponsored
Bob, who sponsored
Chuck, who sponsored
Dave, who sponsored
Ed, who sponsored
Frank, who sponsored
Greg
In figuring the GO Match, it is the relationship of Greg to his "upline" that is the key.
Frank (Greg's actual sponsor) is like Greg's father.?He earns the basic Match covered previously of up to 300% first month/100% subsequent months on Greg's Executive Residual Bonus.?Frank does not earn a GO Match.
Ed would be like Greg's grandfather
Dave would be like Greg's great-grandfather
Chuck would be linke Greg's great-great-grandfather
Bob would be like Greg's great-great-great-grandfather
Allen would be like Greg's great-great-great-great grandfather
If you're sitting in any one of these five "grandfather" positions, you'll earn A GO Match.?In this example...
If you're a BTL, you earn 5% of what Frank didn't make on his Match.
If you're a STL, you earn 10% of what Frank didn't make on his Match.
If you're a GTL, you earn 15% of what Frank didn't make on his Match.
If you're a PTL, you earn 20% of what Frank didn't make on his Match.
The next Team Leader bonus is the Platinum Bonus.?Very simply, if you are a PTL, for every affiliate you have personally sponsored who becomes a PTL, you'll earn 6% of the total CV in their organization (defined as the eight generations under your PTLs).?Note that this is not a match commission.?This is a straight 6% of the total CV in those eight generations, so this can be a very substantial residual income stream you can draw from for years to come each time you help develop a new PTL.
The last and final bonus is the Quarterly Peak Performer Bonus (QPB).
Each quarter, you will have the opportunity to earn a special bonus of a full 1% of the entire company CV for that quarter!?The top four affiliates each quarter will receive this highly lucrative bonus.
Note that the qualifications to win will likely be based on personal SVP and the SVP of NEW EAs. This means that EVERY affiliate has the opportunity to compete for this bonus each quarter.
Note: Even when you don't win this bonus, you still win!?This is because the winners will be generating thousands of affiliate signups during the quarter, which creates the eye-popping numbers and EA-generating TGRs going out to your new affiliates each day!
Allow me to now sum everything up:
1. Every EA will earn an Executive Residual Bonus each month (which is a share of 48% of all CV under them in the Powerline).
2. Sponsors will earn Matches of up to 300% first month (paid daily!), and up to 100% on subsequent months, on the Executive Bonuses earned by their EAs.
3. Earn up to 20% Generational Override Matches on five generations below you.
4. PTLs can earn 6% of the total CV on the eight generations under each personally sponsored PTL.
5. Each quarter you can earn a Peak Performer bonus representing a full 1% of the entire company CV for that quarter.
CONCLUSION
We realize that most people don't like change, but our tracking of data and analysis of trends companywide clearly says change is needed.
