PIPS Email Marketing
The first thing and maybe only thing you need to make an income from your
Plug In Profit Site
is to get regular opt-in email leads reading your follow-up
emails that all leads will receive over the course of one year.
Can you imagine the power in this? Your new newsletter contains over
216 follow-up messages. If you add 20 subscribers per day, which is entirely
likely if you join any of the email leads resources on this site, then over
the course of one year you will be emailing 7000 targeted prospects daily
about each of your affiliate programs. So if you add 100 subscribers per
day....well, you get the idea!
Over the course of that year the more trusting your subscribers become
of you the more likely they are to buy your products and sign up for your
programs. When Stones' follow-ups expire you are then free to email your
prospects every time you want to sell a new product or get people to join
below you in the next hottest new affiliate program.
Stone Evans made over $7000 in two days with exactly the same system.
He wouldn't have been able to do it if the people he had been keeping in
contact with through his follow-ups hadn't grown to trust him. You can
follow the EXACT same process by adding regular emails to your newsletter.
This process will inevitably send visitors to your PIPS website and vice
versa.
Before we start with the "How to" grow your opt-in e-mail list I strongly
recomend you change the intervals of the message delivery that Stone set up for
you in your GetResponse Newsletter. The reason for this is there are 216
messages in your newsletter and for the first 30 days you are sending 1 e-mail
a day to your subscribers. Some people consider this as SPAM regardless of the
fact they are "opt-in" subscribers. Too many SPAM complaints to your account
and GetResponse will cancell your subscription - and trust me you do not want
this to happen!
I have set my messages to deliver every 3 days. This does lengthen the
time the full 216 messages will take to complete but I see this as a positive
in 2 ways. First it reduces my chances of recieving SPAM complaints.
And second, now that I am contacting my subscribers over a 2 year period
if they are not interested in my program/products today who knows what will
happen in their life in the next 2 years that may cause them to change their
mind. By that time they will be familiar with me and are more likely to buy
off someone they know vs a stranger.
So how do you change the intervals? It is very simple:
Step 1: Log into your
GetResponse account.
Step 2:Click on "Messages"
Step 3:Click on "Edit Messages"
Step 4:Click on "Change Intervals"
Step 5:Here you will see a list of all your messages with a box
with a number inside it. This number is the number of days from subscribing
to your newsletter that message will be sent. To change the interval all
you need to do is change that number. Since you can't have 2 messages go
out on the same date the easiest way to do avoid this from happening is to
scroll to the bottom of the list and enter the last number first.
I have the last message going out 644 days from
subscription and I send a message every 3 days (so the second last interval is 641).
I chose 3 day intervals because I would be comfortable recieving e-mails from
someone every 3 days. If you think 2 days or 5 day intervals are OK then go
with what you would feel comfortable with.
Step 6:When you are done click the "Save" button at the
bottom of the page.
I know this is a bit of a pain, but trust me it is not worth it to skip
this step and get a SPAM complaint that causes your GetResponse account to
be cancelled!
Now that your GetResponse Newsletter Intervals are set up Lets move
Onto the next step - filling your prospect list with opt-in e-mails!
